Origi and Mane Left, Liverpool Blocks Firmino’s Departure

DBasia.news – Fabio Carvalho, Darwin Nunez and Calvin Ramsay have arrived for Liverpool who are still continuing to strengthen their squad in the 2022-2023 season.
On the other hand there are also players who left. Two of them are in attack, namely Divock Origi and Sadio Mane, plus Takumi Minamino. Liverpool left two attackers but still has adequate stock in that position.
There are still Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, and Roberto Firmino. However, the latter has the potential to leave Liverpool after rarely playing last season.
Italian giants, Juventus are eyeing him and are even willing to give Adrien Rabiot as part of the transfer. Juventus are also ready to spend 20 million pounds for the 30-year-old player.
Liverpool did not want that to happen after losing Origi and Mane. According to information published by the Mirror, Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp will sit down with Firmino to discuss his future.
Firmino still has a contract with Liverpool until 2023. Liverpool want to talk about his future, especially with the potential for a contract extension rather than releasing him for free next year.
Firmino is not Liverpool’s main scorer but he is ideal in Klopp’s game because of his work ethic. As a striker Firmino has a collective mind, helps the team in the defensive phase, and tries to contribute when attacking.
The Brazilian player has been at Liverpool since 2015 after being transferred from Hoffenheim. So far Firmino has made 327 appearances for Liverpool, scored 98 goals, and helped the club win titles such as the Champions League and Premier League.
