Pablo Aimar, David Luiz’s Inspiration
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Pablo Aimar is a role model for Arsenal defender David Luiz.
Aimar is indeed one of Argentina’s soccer legends. He has strengthened several top clubs, ranging from River Plate, Valencia, Benfica, to grazing with a Malaysian club, JDT.
Barcelona star Lionel Messi has also revealed that one of his idols is Aimar. Likewise with Luiz. Despite his position as a defender, Luiz considered that Aimar was one of the figures that made him dream of becoming a big footballer.
“A lot of players have helped me in this football career. But Pablo Aimar cannot be forgotten, he inspired me, “David Luiz was quoted as saying to Marca.
One day, continued Luiz, Pablo Aimar had come to his room. In fact, the figure who had hung his shoes had taught him how to play soccer that is good and right.
“He began to teach me how to flow the ball from the situation in defense to the attack line. He taught me how to make space. He also taught how to hide the bait to be able to get it between the lines,” he concluded.
Luiz has indeed been in a club with Aimar for three years. That was when both of them defended Benfica in the 2008-2011 period.
