Paris Saint Germain supports Neymar, who has been a victim of racism

DBasia.news – Paris Saint-Germain has provided support to Neymar. This support was given after the Brazilian player was subjected to racist taunts when Les Parisien lost 0-1 to Olympique de Marseille on Sunday (13/9).

Neymar was one of the players who was sent off during a match at the Parc des Princes. He told match officials that he heard racist curses while walking off the pitch.

In a question on Monday (14/9) local time, PSG urged the French football league body (LFP) to investigate the matter.

“Paris St Germain fully supports Neymar Jr, who reported on being the target of racist abuse from an opposing player,” the club stated.

PSG insists that there is no place for racism in society, in football, or in life.

“The club calls on everyone to speak out against all forms of racism around the world. Paris Saint Germain looks forward to the LFP Disciplinary Commission investigating and confirming the facts.”

This match was marked by a commotion which caused three PSG players, Neymar, Laywin Kurzawa, and Leandro Paredes, as well as two Marseille players, namely Dario Benedetto and Jordan Amavi, to be given a red card after the five players were involved in a brawl with each other.

Neymar who kicked the back of Alvaro Gonzalez tweeted that the only thing he regrets is not kicking the Marseille defender in the face.
