Pedro Rodriguez Senang Bisa Bela AS Roma

DBasia.news – AS Roma resmi mendatangkan winger Chelsea, Pedro Rodriguez pada bursa transfer musim panas ini. Roma mendapatkan jasa sang pemain dengan status bebas transfer.

Pedro didatangkan ke Stadion Olimpico dengan durasi kontrak selama tiga tahun atau hingga juni 2023 mendatang. Pemain tim nasional Spanyol tersebut mengaku bahagia bisa membela I Giallorssi.

“Saya senang bisaberada di Roma.Saya senang dengan tantangan baru ini dan bersaing untuk tujuan kami di musim mendatang,” ujar Pedro kepada laman resmi klub dilansir Sky Sports, Rabu (26/8).

Pemain berusia 33 tahun tersebut sudah menghabiskan lima musim bersama Chelsea.

Selama berada di Stamford Bridge, Pedro membantu klub London tersebut menjuarai Premiere League, Piala FA, dan Liga Europa. Tak hanya itu, Pedro juga telah menjuarai lima gelar La Liga dan tiga gelar Liga Champions saat bermain untuk Barcelona.

“Saya berterima kasih kepada para penggemar atas sambutan yang saya terima dan saya berharap membuat mereka bahagia,” sambung dia.

Di sisi lain kepala eksekutif Roma, Guido Fienga mengeklaim pihaknya sangat terhormat bisa menyambut pemain sekelas Pedro di Trigoria, markas besar Roma.

“Harapan yang kami miliki, baik untuk dia maupun untuk kami, adalah bahwa dia dapat terus menambah daftar pencapaian luar biasa bersama AS Roma.”

10. Pedro Rodriguez Glad to Defend AS Roma

AS Roma officially brought Chelsea winger Pedro Rodriguez in the transfer market this summer. Roma got the player on a free transfer.

Pedro was brought to the Stadio Olimpico with a contract duration of three years or until June 2023. The Spanish national team player admitted that he was happy to be able to defend the Giallorssi.

“I am delighted to be in Rome. I am delighted with this new challenge and competing for our goals in the coming season,” Pedro told the club’s official website as reported by Sky Sports, Wednesday (26/8).

The 33-year-old player has spent five seasons with Chelsea.

During his time at Stamford Bridge, Pedro helped the London club win the Premiere League, FA Cup and Europa League. Not only that, Pedro has also won five La Liga titles and three Champions League titles while playing for Barcelona.

“I thank the fans for the welcome I have received and I hope to make them happy,” he continued.

On the other hand, the chief executive of Roma, Guido Fienga, claimed that his party was very honored to welcome a player like Pedro at Trigoria, Rome headquarters.

“The hope we have, both for him and for us, is that he can continue to add to the list of extraordinary accomplishments with AS Roma.”
