In this season, the Champions League and Europa League will certainly be won by a British club. In the Champions League, Liverpool will be defeated against Tottenham Hotspur. Meanwhile, in the Europa League, Arsenal and Chelsea will clash with each other.
Pedro considers Chelsea’s achievements this season to be quite satisfying. Moreover, the Blues are in the top four in the Premier League.
“We are in the Champions League, the English League Cup final and another final now. If we win the Europa League title, this is a great season,” Pedro said as reported by Soccerway.
Pedro considered the Arsenal match would not be easy. as the Gunners carried the mission to qualify for the Champions League next season by winning the Europa League.
“I think there is the same motivation for both teams. For them, this is a good opportunity to compete in the Champions League. However, we also want to win the title,” Pedro said.
“This is good for the English team. This is great because every week you see how challenging and competitive the Premier League is. The message is clear if the Premier League is the strongest and most competitive league at the moment.”
Pedro asked his colleagues to be wary of a very high guard from Arsenal’s players. “Maybe this will be an open match as Arsenal have a very high defense line. They play very good football just like us,” said the player.
UEFA received criticism for holding the 2018-2019 Europa League final by only allocating 6,000 tickets for each of the supporters. The amount has made the cost of flights and hotels to soar.
