DBasia.news – Premier League coaching duo, Pep Guardiola and Nuno Espirito Santo, comment on Harry Kane’s future. Both have different opinions.
Manchester City have reportedly not given up on the hunt for Harry Kane. Although Tottenham Hotspur rejected the first offer, but The Citizens prepared the next one. In fact, this time Man City’s bid is estimated to reach 150 million euros.
Although the issue of Kane joining is being widely circulated, but Pep Guardiola does not want to comment anymore. Guardiola chose to respect The Lilywhites who owned the 28-year-old striker.
“I answered questions about Harry Kane as a target for Manchester City in the previous press conference. He is a Tottenham player and I will not talk about him,” said Pep Guardiola as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
“I made an exception last time. Usually I don’t talk about transfers,” added Guardiola.
Meanwhile, Nuno Espirito Santo is confident Kane will stay. Although, the striker had time to put up a fight by refusing to practice together. Currently, Kane is back and preparing for the first game. Uniquely, in the first week of the 2021-2022 Premier League, Tottenham will host Man City.
“Harry Kane is training today. Of course we talk, but this is a private conversation,” said Nuno Espirito Santo.
“He is here with us and is a Tottenham player. We have to think about it tomorrow,” explained Espirito Santo.
Harry Kane has strong reasons to leave Tottenham Hotspur. The striker wants to move to a team with a greater chance of winning. Because, while defending Tottenham, Kane has never reached the best ladder. Tottenham once almost won the Champions League title, but lost at the hands of Liverpool.
