Pep Guardiola Did Not Expect to Record 700 Matches as A Manager

DBasia.news – Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola admitted that he did not expect to be able to register 700 matches as a football team manager. Now Pep wants to be the team manager for the next 700 games before deciding to retire.
Pep Guardiola started his career as a football team manager by becoming a tactician for Barcelona B in 2008.
After that, he was noted for achieving incredible success with the first team Barcelona, Bayern Munich and now Manchester City. In total, in the 11 seasons he spent as a coach, Guardiola managed to present 29 major trophies.

Because Guardiola will record 700 matches as manager of the football team. For this achievement, Guardiola admits that he is very happy and hopes to lead another 700 games before deciding to retire.
“Yes, I want to be in 700 matches again, after that I will retire,” said Guardiola as quoted from Man City’s official website.
“When I started my career [as a football team manager], I had absolutely no idea I could achieve this milestone. It’s great to be able to lead the team in 700 games and have a few defeats along the way.”
