Pep Guardiola: Leroy Sane Could Go If He Asked

DBasia.news – Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola insists he will release Leroy Sane if the winger submits a transfer request.
The 23-year-old spent the last three years of his career at Manchester, having been brought in from Schalke in 2016.
Last season Guardiola preferred players like Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva over Sane, which led to speculation about his future at the club.
Bayern Munich repeatedly publicized their interest, although also dismissing news of having reached a € 100 million agreement to get players who were predicted to be successors to Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.
“I’m not aware of the rumors. I want players who want to survive. This player didn’t say anything to me, that’s the truth,” Guardiola said.
“If he knocks on the door and says he wants to leave, then we will talk to the club. We want him to stay here because we are trying to extend the contract for more than a year.”
