Pep Guardiola, The Reason Behind Aguero’s Contract Extension

DBasia.news – Sergio Aguero is officially extended his contract with Manchester City until 2021.

Aguero revealed the reason behind his agreement to sign the new contract with The Citizens. The Argentinian player admitted that he enjoys coached by Pep Guardiola.

Sergio Aguero has been the prominent player for Man City in scoring the goals since 2010. Moreover, currently, Aguero is listed as the elite strikers of The Citizens of all time.

A few days ago, Aguero proved his commitment in Man City by signing the new contract until 2021. After that, Aguero proved himself by scoring the 300th goal against Cardiff City.

“I can say I have learned a lot, especially with getting to know (Guardiola) better. Obviously, at the start, you don’t know each other but as time goes by you get to know him. And this was part of the reason for extending my contract,” Aguero said reported by Goal.

“Every player would like to work with Pep to learn lots of things,” the former Atletico Madrid player revealed.

Meanwhile, Guardiola also excited of Aguero’s extension in Man City. Guardiola admits that he has a good relationship both inside and outside the pitch.

“The relationship (with Aguero) was always top, was perfect, and I’m delighted he can continue playing here. Now he knows me better,” Guardiola insisted.

“I know him better, like a football player, like a human being, and that is the most important thing,” the manager continued.
