Pessimistic Extending Aubameyang’s Contract, Arsenal Ready to Cheap Sale

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Arsenal who had felt optimistic could extend the contract of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has now turned pessimistic. Mikel Arteta’s club is now starting to think of selling the attacker rather than losing him for free next season.

Aubameyang contract will expire in 2021. Arsenal’s efforts to renew the contract is still deadlocked.

Aubameyang is Arsenal’s main goal maker machine. He has scored 61 goals in 97 matches since coming in January 2018.

The Gunners certainly do not want to lose the attacker for free. Therefore selling him on the transfer market next summer is the best option.

Arsenal brought in Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund at a cost of £56 million. They certainly hope to sell the Gabonese player at a price above the purchase value.

The problem is, not many clubs want to spend large funds in the transfer market as the coronavirus pandemic is still ongoing. Their financial condition is disrupted due to loss of income from match tickets and television broadcast rights.

Being aware of that, Arsenal is ready to reduce the price of Aubameyang. Reported by The Sun, the club based at the Emirates Stadium is ready to sell him at a price of 30 million pounds alone.

The amount is almost half of the purchase price of Aubameyang. But Arsenal chose to lose compared to not getting any money.

This condition will certainly attract the interest of big European clubs. Chelsea and Inter Milan are rumored to be two serious enthusiasts to get Aubameyang.
