Phil Foden Apparently Likes To Watch His Own Videos before Competing

DBasia.news – England midfielder Phil Foden reveals the secret behind his high confidence on the pitch. Foden admits that he often watches videos of himself before competing.

Phil Foden became one of the important players for England at Euro 2020. The player appeared as a starter in the first two matches against Croatia and Scotland. Meanwhile, Foden was saved when he met the Czech Republic because he had already pocketed a yellow card.

To achieve the career as it is today, Phil Foden did not take inspiration from others. Instead, he uses his own videos to boost his confidence.

“Sometimes, I watch my own videos on Youtube. It makes me walk into the game with high confidence,” Foden said on The Lions’ Den Youtube channel.

“I don’t like watching other people. I want to be myself,” continued the Manchester City player.

Furthermore, Phil Foden also denied that his blonde hair color was inspired by the style of Paul Gascoigne at the 1996 European Cup. “That is my own and people have changed it into something else,” explained Foden.

The England national team will continue their struggle at Euro 2020 by challenging Germany in the round of 16, at Wembley Stadium. According to statistics, the two teams have elbowed each other seven times in major tournaments (World Cup and European Cup). As a result, Germany and England both won two wins, while the other three matches ended in a draw.
