Pirlo Admitted That He Was a Little Disturbed Even Though Juventus Won over Crotone

DBasia.news – Juventus won a landslide victory over Crotone through a dominant performance. Andrea Pirlo revealed one thing that bothered him a little.
Juventus won 3-0 at home to Crotone at Allianz Stadium, Tuesday (23/2/2021). Two goals came from Cristiano Ronaldo while the other came from Weston McKennie.
The Bianconeri appeared so dominant, firing 27 shots with eight of them on target. Meanwhile the visitors had 15 attempts in which only two led to the goal.
Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo was not comfortable with his team’s start, but was happy the players showed a positive reaction. He accused the defeats of Napoli and Porto which had a slight impact on his team.
“We started with a little nervousness, maybe the last defeats affected us. Then the goals helped us and gave us calm,” he said as quoted by Italian Football.
“The rest we did well. The start was not the best, but the most important thing was to bring home the three points,” added Andrea Pirlo.
This victory lifted Juventus to third place in the Italian League standings with 45 points from 22 matches. Juve are still eight points behind Inter Milan at the top and four points from AC Milan.
Pirlo insists the hopes of catching Inter have not disappeared.
“Everyone behind Inter are antagonists, including us and we will fight until the end,” he said.
