DBasia.news – January has passed, which means the transfer winter transfer stock has come to an end. Hardly any major transfers happened, although a few transfers included massive clubs such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, Barcelona, and Chelsea.
Arsenal kick started their victory by recruiting Denis Suarez from FC Barcelona. The 25-year old attacking-midfielder was hired for a season and reunited to his former coach in Sevilla, Unai Emery.
“We are delighted that Denis Suarez has joined us. He is a player we know well and I have previously worked with him in Sevilla. He gave us play options and qualities in many different offensive positions,” says Emery in Arsenal’s official site.
Meanwhile Dortmund has lent their former Manchester United attacking-midfielder, Shinji Kagawa to Besiktas until the end of season 2018-19. Besiktas became the fourth club in Japan’s professional carrer after previously strengthening Cerezo Osaka, Dortmund, and Man United.
From London, Chelsea has returned to lend one of their forward, Michy Batshuayi to other clubs. After coming back from Valencia, this time the Belgian forward will stay in London and strengthen Crystal Palace.
Batshuayi is hired until the end of the season without the option to buy. Chelsea still sees it as a valuable asset, especially how challenging it is now to get in The Blues main team unanimously with the presence of Olivier Giroud and Gonzalo Higuain.
Still in England, Liverpool has finally lost its patience with Lazar Markovic and dismissed him for free to Fulham. The 24-year old wing-forward was contrated to Fulham for six months. Previously, Markovic was lent by Liverpool to Fenerbahce, Sporting Lisbon, Hull City, and Anderlecht.
Subsequently Barcelona finished two transfers with a different situation. Both players recruited by Balugrana: Emerson and Jean-Clair Todibo were defenders. Emerson was brought from Atletico Mineiro worth 12 million Euros and is joining the following summer.
Meanwhile, Barcelona accelerated Todibo’s transfer from Toulouse, from being held the following summer. 19-year old Todibo is contracted for 4,5 years to regenerate Barca’s back line which has brought in Jeison Murillo from Valencia.
Finally, Milan has lent their attacking-midfielder, Alen Halilovic to Belgium to join with Standard Liege. The Croatian player hired by Rossoneri for 18 months with permanent option in the end of his contract.
