Players Who Have a Clash with Their Coaches

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  The dispute between coaches and club players is one of the essences of the excitement of football.

Some time ago, Jose Mourinho was reportedly arguing with Paul Pogba. One background is The Special One’s attitude which often makes negative sentences for the player to the media.

Paul Pogba is reportedly not happy with Mourinho’s actions. Instead of stopping, Mourinho has become even worse if Pogba performs poorly in matches.

Several British media reported that the two figures were involved in a huge dispute in the dressing room. The incident was a special note for team management.

In the end, it was Paul Pogba who won the fight. Because Manchester United’s manager chose to kick Jose Mourinho in the middle of the season and replace him with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

In addition to the negative results achieved by Manchester United, Mourinho is believed to be fired for harassing Paul Pogba. The French national team player is considered a golden boy by the Red Devils.

Aside from Jose Mourinho versus Paul Pogba, soccer has been tinged with disputes involving players against coaches from long ago. Here are four of them:

Louis van Gaal vs Rafael Da Silva (Manchester United)

Rafael Da Silva enjoyed his time at Manchester United until Van Gaal arrived. The two figures reportedly did not get along well on and off the field.

The friction that occurred between Rafael and Van Gaal is not a performance background. Reportedly, Van Gaal did not like the Brazilian player because he had bitter experience while still training Barcelona.

“I know he likes me. However, I do not know if it is because I am Brazilian,” explained Rafael.

“To be honest, I don’t know. I can’t say anything about it. Because, since Anderson left, I was the only Brazilian player.”

Ruud Gullit vs Alan Shearer (Newcastle United)

The famous Premier League striker, Alan Shearer, has a bad relationship with his former manager Ruud Gullit. Shearer was considered as a reason for Newcastle to fire Gullit.

The climax of the two figures feud was when Newcastle lost 2-1 against Sunderland in the 1999-2000 season. Reportedly, several supporters did not like because Gullit ignored Shearer in the match.

The AC Milan legend was fired shortly after the match. “He doesn’t want to play for me. I told him he was the overrated player I have ever seen,” Gullit said.

Luis Felipe Scolari Vs Romario (Brazilian national team)

Legendary Brazilian national team striker, Romario, may collect two World Cup titles. However, the player fought with Scolari ahead of the 2002 World Cup finals in Korea and Japan.

The player reportedly violated the curfew made by Scolari. Romario left with the flight attendant until dawn.

As a result of the incident, Scolari was furious at Romario. In the end, the coach decided not to include Romario on the list of 23 Brazilian players in the World Cup final match.

Sir Alex Ferguson vs. David Beckham (Manchester United)

In the early 2000s, David Beckham was reportedly more famous than the Queen of England. Moreover, he was at the peak of his career with Manchester United.

Beckham’s personal life is widely exposed to the media. In addition, the star is also often invited to events that are not related to football.

Reportedly, Ferguson did not like that. He asked Beckham to focus solely on football.

In 2003, the dispute between Ferguson and Beckham reached its peak. The manager decided to sell Beckham to Real Madrid. Some media reported that Fergie had thrown his shoe at Beckham’s face, which ended in a wound on the forehead.
