DBasia.news – PSG continued their good run in Ligue 1 and most recently managed to secure a 4-0 victory against Dijon on Sunday (25/10) am, WIB.
The result placed Thomas Tuchel’s players at the top of the standings with 18 points as they have won their last six matches in France’s top competition.
As is known, PSG opened the new 2020/21 season with many problems following the positive case of Covid-19 from the club. They even had to be defeated with a 1-0 identical score when they met Lens on the first matchday and Marseille in the second week.
However, their luck changed as the season went on. The achieved victory after victory by starting against Metz, which was followed by the defeat against Nice (3-0), Reims (2-0), Angers (6-1), Nimes (4-0) and finally Dijon (4- 0).
In the match that was held at the Parc des Princes last night, PSG broke the deadlock in the third minute through loan player from Everton, Moise Kean. He scored his first goal for the French giants after completing an assist for Mitchel Bakker.
Twenty minutes later Kean got his name back on the scoreboard, this time the Italian attacker found the net for Saturnin Allagbe after getting a pass from Neymar.
Opta noted, Kean is the fastest goalscorer in Ligue 1 for PSG since Pablo Sarabia on February 29, also against Dijon. The former Juventus star now has the same number of goals (two) as when he strengthened Everton in the 2019/20 Premier League season.
PSG entered the second half with a dominant appearance. Coach Tuchel then tried to change strategy with him playing Kylian Mbappe for Kean in the 73rd minute. As a result, the French star kept the hosts’ lead away from his goal eight minutes from time.
In the process of this goal, Neymar deserved praise because he was the one who provided the assist. And Opta reported that the Brazilian star has been involved in 15 kicks against Dijon (seven attempts, eight chances created), which is his best achievement in a single Ligue 1 match.
PSG’s party in this fixture was closed in the 88th minute by Mbappe, who has now scored six goals in five league appearances for the new season. The world champion is currently at the top of the top scorer list with Metz Ibrahima Niane.
