PSSI, PT LIB, Club, and Organizing Committee Must Develop the Competency

DBasia.news – Kemenpora, PSSI, club, APPI, supporter representatives, and police conducted a meeting.

The meeting at Kemenpora Auditorium Jakarta, Monday (1/10), was the follow-up of the attack in the match between Persib Bandung against Persija Jakarta at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium.

In this opportunity, the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Imam Nahrawi explained that this meeting is based on the instruction from President Joko Widodo.

“This is the instruction from the President to sit together with the sport’s stakeholders. From the meeting this afternoon, we will do a big thing. This will give a big impact for the unity of football in Indonesia,” said Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Imam Nahrawi.

The meeting appointed important football figures as the speakers. They are vice chairman Joko Driyono from PSSI, Ponaryo Astaman from APPI, and Tommy Ermanto from Pusamania as the supporter representative.

In this opportunity, Joko Driyono delivered three points about PSSI’s decision regarding the death, the position, and responsibility of the supporters.

Meanwhile, Haruna Soemitro as the Madura United manager and spokesperson of Liga 1 clubs explained the supporter’s position. He also expects football won’t present horrible things anymore, by implementing the 5 percent quota for the away supporters.

The discussion also involved Badan Intelkam Mabes Polri, Komisi X DPR RI, social expert, and editor in chief as the speakers.

The 10 Statements:

1. Tolak kekerasan dalam bentuk apapun di dalam stadion, di luar stadion, dan area lainnya,
2. Tolak segala bentuk dukungan yang bernada provokatif seperti nyanyian hinaan, spanduk rasis, atau koreo negatif serta bentuk provokatif lainnya,
3. Tolak segala bentuk provokatif di media sosial,
4. PSSI dan klub bertanggung jawab untuk melakukan pembinaan terhadap suporter sampai ke akar rumput,
5. PSSI, PT LIB, klub, dan panpel wajib meningkatkan kompetensi dalam penyelenggaraan pertandingan,
6. Bersedia mengikuti ketentuan yang ditetapkan oleh aparat,
7. Sanksi terhadap pelanggaran yang dilakukan oknuk suporter harus tegas dan memberikan efek jera kepada semua pihak tanpa terkecuali dengan mengacu pada Statuta PSSI serta memenuhi rasa keadilan masyarakat,
8. Pemerintah Pusat dan Pemerintah Daerah memfasilitasi pembinaan suporter sepakbola sampai ke akar rumput,
9. Setiap pelanggaran yang menyebabkan permusuhan, kekerasan, dan hilangnya nyawa, maka pihak-pihak terkait wajib memberikan sanksi,
10. Aparat keamanan dituntut untuk tegas dalam mensortir setiap penonton yang akan memasuki stadion.
