Puyol Supports Messi who Reprimanded Pique

DBasia.news –  Former Barcelona player, Carles Puyol, supported Lionel Messi’s move to reprimand Gerard Pique.

Gerard Pique was in the spotlight after expressing scathing criticism at Barcelona management. Piqué began to set fire to the dispute by referring to the poor results obtained by El Barca.

Pique also denied that the players were the masterminds behind the minor results. The former Manchester United player accused Barca officials of having collaborated with the media to corner the players.

Pique’s statement instantly shocked the public. Lionel Messi immediately opened up on the matter by stating that what Pique said was baseless. In addition, La Pulga had asked Pique not to speak of it agian.

“We must respect Gerard Pique. We all know him. He only says what he thinks. Besides, he is very open,” explained Puyol.

“I prefer to talk like Messi. I will not act like Pique,” continued Puyol.

“Lionel Messi is our captain and he has the right to vote. However, I believe the words he expressed were appropriate in the locker room. I judge there are no problems with coordination or anything,” Pique explained.
