DBasia.news – Manchester United interim manager, Ralf Rangnick, gave good news ahead of the match between his team and Arsenal which will be held tonight. Rangnick made sure the three pillar players who had previously been sidelined had now returned.
Manchester United will play matchday 34 of the Premier League away to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, Saturday (23/4) evening WIB. Ahead of the important match, Ralf Rangnick confirmed that Scott McTominay and Raphael Varane will return to play after recovering from injury.
Even Cristiano Ronaldo, who was absent in the previous match against Liverpool because one of his children died, has now returned and is ready to play against the Gunners.
“Scott McTominay is back and is fit to play. As of today, he has trained with us. So he will be available for tomorrow’s game,” Rangnick told MUTV.
“So will Rapha Varane. And of course Cristiano Ronaldo will be back. He has been training with us.”
However, Rangnick also delivered bad news in which Paul Pogba will be absent due to a calf injury. Even the player runs the risk of ending the 2021/22 season early.
“Regarding Paul’s condition, after we had scans yesterday and the day after tomorrow, it is absolutely impossible for him to play until the end of the season,” he continued.
“The doctor told me that he will need a minimum of four weeks to recover. And because the last match will be held at the end of May, then I am unsure if he will return to play again,” he concluded.
