By db-admin
DBasia.news – Aaron Ramsey said he was optimistic that Juventus could turn things around in the Champions League second leg. Juventus surprisingly defeated Olympique Lyon with a score of 0-1, Thursday (02/27) early morning hrs.
Lyon was surprisingly able to defeat Juventus at Groupama Arena at dawn earlier. The single goal of Les Gones’ victory was scored by Lucas Toussart in the 31st minute.
In this match, Ramsey was played as a substitute in the second half. However, he failed to deliver maximum impact and the Bianconerri had to go home empty-handed from Groupama Arena.
“We know Groupama Arena is a pretty difficult place to get maximum results and Lyon also has quality players. They succeeded in maximizing the opportunity and we failed to dismantle their defenses, “Ramsey was quoted as saying on the official UEFA website.
“But, I’m sure we still have a big chance to qualify. We are confident in our strength. With the support of the supporters, we will try desperately to get away, “continued Ramsey added.
The second leg party itself is planned to be held at the Allianz Stadium in the next three weeks. Before returning to face Lyon, Juventus must first compete against Inter Milan (02/03), AC Milan (05/03), Bologna (09/03) and Lecce (14/03).
Meanwhile, Lyon will also face a series of tough teams before visiting Turin. The plan, they will face St Etienne (02/03), PSG (5/3), Lille (09/03) and Stade Reims (3/14).
