Rangnick doesn’t want to talk much about Ten Hag to Manchester United

DBasia.news – Manchester United have reportedly chosen Erik ten Hag as the new manager for next season. However, Ralf Rangnick is reluctant to comment on this rumor.
Manchester United has shown real action in looking for a new manager. The English giants even intend to announce the replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before this season ends.
Ten Hag are in fierce competition with Mauricio Pochettino for this job. Both of them have even had an interview session.
But Manchester United seems to have chosen Ten Hag. The two parties are said to be concluding an agreement before it is announced to the public.
Rangnick must have heard these rumors. But he was reluctant to say much to confirm it.
“I don’t mean to talk about a possible new manager. What I do know is that the person they are talking to is a top coach,” Rangnick said at a press conference ahead of the game against Everton.
“That judgment also applies to Erik ten Hag. That’s all I can say.”
Theres a reason why Rangnick refuses to talk. Reportedly he was not involved in the decision-making process regarding the new manager.
Moreover, Rangnick’s name was included in the list of candidates. However, Manchester United’s lack of convincing performance recently made his name thrown from the list of candidates.
“I know which coaches they have spoken to so far. That is why I can say all the coaches they have spoken to are top coaches,” he added.
“As you know, we have agreed a contract (to make me) an advisor and we will talk about it in the next few weeks. I’m pretty sure of that, but my focus is on the Everton game.”
Rangnick must be fully focused on bringing Manchester United to the top four. Currently, the opportunity for Cristiano Ronaldo and his team mates to realize this target is relatively small.
