Raphael Varane Story about Yelling at Cristiano Ronaldo
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Real Madrid defender, Raphael Varane, has a story about the time he yelled at the Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Raphael Varane has been playing for Real Madrid for almost nine years. Not surprisingly, he has performed with many players including Cristiano Ronaldo.
Cristiano Ronaldo, known as the leader character, gave orders to Varane in the training session. “Varane, go to the center,” Ronaldo said during Real Madrid’s training session.
The call made Varane furious. “I am not Varane. I am Rapha,” the Frenchman told Onze Mondial.
However, the 26-year-old defender felt that what he was doing was still within reasonable limits. Varane refused to be called rude by Ronaldo.
“It’s not rude. I’m very kind, even in the locker room. I’m also shy,” Varane stated.
“However, when in difficult times, you have to show real character. The players have known me and know this for a long time.”
“This is not a matter of respect or disrespect. When not seen, you will not be much considered,” Varane commented.
Currently, Cristiano Ronaldo has moved to Juventus. The 34-year-old player left from Real Madrid with a fee of 105 million euros.
