Rashford wishes Martial the best of luck
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Anthony Martial is officially on loan at Sevilla. His Manchester United team mate, Marcus Rashford, wishes Martial the best.
Martial will spend the remainder of the 2021/22 season as a Sevilla player. The French player is already in Seville to complete his move.
There is no permanent transfer clause in the loan contract, so Martial will return to Manchester United this summer. This decision is arguably the best way for Martial.
Because Martial is unlikely to stay at Manchester United as he is no longer the main choice of interim manager, Ralf Rangnick. Therefore, Martial has difficulty showing his best performance and this could affect his chances of playing in the 2022 World Cup.
Therefore, Martial is trying to improve his career with Sevilla who need energy in the attack line. Sevilla has a bit of a problem in attack as top scorer, Rafa Mir has only scored nine goals in all competitions, six of them in LaLiga.
Meanwhile, the Andalusian club is competing with Real Madrid for the La Liga title. Sevilla are currently in second place in the standings with 46 points from 22 matches, four points behind Real Madrid at the top.
So Sevilla’s attack should be more fierce in the second half of the season and Martial is expected to be the answer. Rashford, who was left by his partner, wished Martial to be successful with Los Rojiblancos.
“I wish you uccess, bro @AnthonyMartial,” said Rashford while commenting on the tweet of the official Manchester United Twitter account.
Anthony Martial is likely to make his debut on February 5 when Sevilla meet Osasuna.
