Ready to Sign A New Contract with Inter, Icardi Canceled the Plan to Madrid

DBasia.news – It’s getting more difficult to see Icardi leaving Inter Milan. Apparently, her wife and agent, Wanda Nara, said that Inter are preparing the new contract for Icardi. This is a bad news for Real Madrid.
Real Madrid are still looking for the new striker to replace Cristiano Ronaldo. One of the targets is Mauro Icardi.
It makes sense. The Argentina national team striker could be the strength for Real Madrid. Besides that, Icardi is currently in his golden period.
Actually, Real Madrid had the chance to sign him during the summer transfer market. He has the release clause worth 110 million euro for the teams outside Italy.
But, when they are just a step away to the deal, Icardi signed the contract until 2023 with 7 million euro annual salary. The number makes him as the player with the highest salary in Serie A.
“It’s 00.30 and I’m still here reading over the pages of the (contract) renewal,” Wanda Nara wrote on Twitter.
So far, we need to see about Icardi’s release clause. However, recent news said Inter Milan would either erase that clause or upgrade the number.
Inter Milan signed Mauro Icardi from Sampdoria. So far, the 25-year-old player has scored 119 goals from 200 caps with Nerazzurri.
