Nicolo Zaniolo

DBasia.news –  Nicolo Zaniolo’s name continues to be a the talk of European public. Since moving to AS Roma and becoming part of the transfer of Radja Nainggolan to Inter Milan, Zaniolo continues to grow rapidly under the direction of Eusebio Di Francesco.

Zaniolo, 19 years old, his name is increasingly discussed by the European public and in particular, Italy, after scoring two goals against Porto in the first leg of the last 16 Champions League – Roma won 2-1. European talent scouts immediately monitored him.

Even the super European agent, Mino Raiola, tried to tempt Zaniolo to part ways with Claudio Vigorelli – his current agent – in order to handle him directly. Zaniolo and his family refused the offer and remained loyal to Vigorelli.

Raiola is famous for being a resilient agent in Europe because he often sells players at fantastic prices. He tried to exploit the interests of big European clubs to Zaniolo, by trying to become his agent and sell them at high prices.

According to Calciomercato, Zaniolo’s agent was recently contacted by Real Madrid and Chelsea regarding their availability for sale in the transfer market next summer, along with the official price tag.

Chelsea were supposed to be restricted from player transfer in the next two transfer markets, but, the Blues are still making an appeal in the hope that FIFA will suspend the sanctions and they can shop for players next summer.

Not only Chelsea and Madrid, Juventus and PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) reportedly also want Zaniolo. The official price is not yet known. Because, Zaniolo is still very young, talented, and has the potential to be a bright star for European football in the future.

The official price of around 45 to 80 million euros may be appropriate for Zaniolo at this time, if the Massa, Tuscany born player consistently displayes the best performance with Giallorossi.

Roma, through the Director of Sports, Monchi, hopes to be able to talk about a new contract that ties Zaniolo with a long-term contract, income of two million euros per year, and a purchase clause with an exorbitant price.

Refusing Raiola to become his agent was right for Zaniolo. Playing a season or two more seasons will be a wise decision for Zaniolo. Moreover, Zaniolo was in the right hands: Eusebio Di Francesco.

The 49-year-old coach has a good reputation in Italy with young players, whether it’s training Sassuolo (2012-2017) or now with Roma.

Justin Kluivert, Cengiz Under, Bryan Cristante, Lorenzo Pellegrini, are some of the names of young Roma players who developed under Di Francesco. So, chances are that Zaniolo will not leave Rome in the near future.
