Real Madrid Are Looking for a Replacement for Mbappe

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Real Madrid seems to be starting to worry about failing to sign Kylian Mbappe next summer. Los Blancos also responded by looking for other targets.

Mbappe looks like he will move to Madrid for free this summer after refusing a number of contract extension offers from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The two parties are believed to have established communication.

But the situation changed rapidly. Mbappe is now starting to consider staying longer at the Parc des Princes.

There are rumors that Mbappe will sign a new two-year contract with PSG. But he will be allowed to leave after the 2022 World Cup.

If these rumors come true, Madrid will have to pay a transfer fee to bring Mbappe. The value is certainly not small.

This condition makes Mbappe’s move to Madrid starting to be a question mark. Moreover, now the Spanish giants are starting to maneuver to aim at other targets.

According to a Goal report, Madrid are starting to get serious about pursuing Serge Gnabry. The Bayern Munich winger will enter the last year of his contract this summer.

Negotiations for a contract extension between Munich and Gnabry have failed. Die Roten refused to fulfill the request for a salary of 9 million euros per year.

Selling Gnabry next summer would be the best option for Munich. The resale value is still quite high.

Madrid can also ask for help from David Alaba to convince Gnabry. The two are known to have a fairly close relationship.

If successful in getting Gnabry, Madrid seems ready to forget Mbappe. Except the 23-year-old player still refuses to extend his contract at PSG.
