DBasia.news – Real Madrid decided not to send Eden Hazard to surgery, regarding his ankle injury, after consulting various specialists.
The Belgian national team player believes that all of his recent injuries are the result of an ankle injury which recured a year after undergoing surgery in Dallas.
Hazard felt uneasy about his condition and the ongoing muscle injury, but as reported by Marca, Real Madrid has asked him to be patient and rest in order to fully recover.
That was the opposite of what was suggested by the head of the medical staff of the Belgian national team, Kris Van Crombrugge, who explained that a new surgery could be the right decision for the player to be able to defend his country on the European Cup stage this summer.
“The aurgery might be a good option to restore flexibility to the ankle,” said Van Crombrugge.
“However, without wanting to get involved, I would like to suggest that it should be carried out as soon as possible so as not to destroy his dream of playing in the European Cup.”
Los Blancos believe that the most important thing for Hazard is to recover physically and mentally after the tough situation he has been in over the last few years.
Nor have they set a deadline for his recovery, which will depend entirely on whether the player is ready to return to the pitch or not.
Eden Hazard himself does not want to rush back onto the pitch after suffering multiple muscle problems this season, which has limited his appearances to just 14 games.
