Real Madrid Lose Eden Hazard for Four Weeks Due To Injury
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Real Madrid have lost their flagship player, Eden Hazard for four weeks due to injury. According to Marca’s report, Wednesday (30/9), you could say that this year is an unfriendly year for Eden Hazard, who suffered two serious injuries to his ankle since last season.
The former Chelsea player has yet to appear for Los Blancos in his second season with the club.
“After the tests carried out today on our player Eden Hazard by the Real Madrid Medical Service, he was diagnosed with a muscle injury in his right leg,” said a statement on the club’s official website.
Earlier on Wednesday, Belgian national team coach Roberto Martinez had also called up Hazard to his squad ahead of next month’s Nations League matches against Iceland and England, as well as friendlies against Ivory Coast.
However, Hazard’s career progress has again met with the latest setback.
“If Eden is on the pitch with Real Madrid, it is because he is 100 percent (fit) and he will then join the Red Devils (Belgium),” said Martinez.
“We would not have played him at 99 per cent and Real would not have done it for the same reason. If he had not been on the pitch tonight and Sunday he would not have come and would continue to train with Real Madrid.”
Hazard has missed Madrid’s opening two La Liga games, with coach Zinedine Zidane insisting the 29-year-old will only play when he is ready.
After facing Valladolid on Thursday, Zidane’s Real Madrid side travel to Levante on Sunday ahead of the international break. Madrid are then scheduled to face Cadiz at home on October 18 before the first El Clasico of the season against Barcelona a week later at Camp Nou.
