Recounting Harry Wilson’s Future at Liverpool

DBasia.news – Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, was supposed to be very impressed with Harry Wilson’s appearance at the preseason. But, given the intense competition in Liverpool’s first team, Klopp hopes there will be the best solution for Wilson’s future.
Wilson, last season performed well when on loan at Derby County and scored 16 goals in the Championship. His great performance lasted until the preseason. Wilson scored a great goal when Liverpool won 3-1 over Olympique Lyonnais in the preseason test match.
Derby became Wilson’s third club with a loan status after being loaned out to Crewe Alexandra (2015) and Hull City (2018).
Klopp likes Wilson’s performance. But, he also realized that it was not easy to compete on the Liverpool front lines that already had Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, and Mohamed Salah.
“We talk constantly, this is clear. We have to do the right thing for us and him. There is nothing to talk about publicly about it, so we will see what happens in the next eight or nine days until the transfer window closed,” Klopp said, quoted from the Goal.
“He is obviously a very good player and I am really happy with him in the whole preseason. He is back from Derby in completely different conditions. That is a good example of how the loan period should be – good for Derby and also Harry.”
“I am happy for him and he showed it again. He did not play in the best position, played as a left-wing striker and did very well,” concluded Klopp.
