Recovering from Corona Virus, Paul Pogba Returns to Training with Manchester United

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Manchester United got good news after Paul Pogba was declared cured of the corona virus. It is reported that the French national team midfielder immediately attended the pre-season training session with the Red Devils.

Pogba was known to have been infected with the corona virus on August 27. This made him cancel strengthening the French national team in the first two matches of the UEFA Nations League.

After testing positive for the corona virus, Pogba carried out independent isolation at his residence. That means, it only took him about two weeks to recover.

Pogba’s recovery from the corona virus was confirmed directly by Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The 27-year-old player now has the opportunity to appear in the inaugural Premier League match.

“Paul missed a few training sessions due to catching the virus. However, he will soon be fit again,” said Solskjaer on the club’s official website.

“He has obviously worked hard to come back after self-isolation and can play a lot of games. Hopefully he will be ready for next weekend although I’m not 100 per cent sure.”

Manchester United will only play its first 2020-2021 Premier League match on September 19 against Crystal Palace. Pogba has a week to recover his condition.

If Pogba wasn’t ready, Solskjaer doesn’t seem to need to panic. He has a line of midfielders ready to play including his new signing, Donny van de Beek.
