Reject Arsenal, This Is Monchi’s Reasons Choosing to Return to Sevilla

DBasia.news –  Arsenal’s hunt for a Sports Director is continuing. Because their two main targets, Monchi (former Roma Sports Director) and Marc Overmars (Ajax Amsterdam Sports Director), refused to come to North London.

Monchi himself is the main target of Arsenal to fill a position previously held by Sven Mislintat. Unfortunately, the 50-year-old man chose to rejoin the La Liga club, Sevilla. Now, Mochi also spoke about the decision.

“I thank Arsenal, they are the most serious parties showing interest in me. However, in the end, I have to evaluate all the offers that exist to choose which is most suitable for me,” Monchi said as quoted by the Mirror.

“I have some pretty big offers,   but I chose Sevilla because of the same vision of their sport as what   I want, “he concluded.

Monchi himself is a former Sevilla player and spent his entire professional career with the La Liga club. After his career as a football player, he then served as Director of Sports for them between 2000 and 2016, before leaving for AS Roma.
