Rejecting Lyon’s Proposal, Jose Mourinho Admits There is A New Prospective Club
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Jose Mourinho turned down an offer to train from Lyon. The Portuguese captain admitted to Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas that he already had a club of choice to train.
Lyon itself is looking for a new coach after officially sacking Sylvinho some time ago. Sylvinho was fired because it was considered a failure to bring Memphis Depay et al appear maximum this season.
Jose Mourinho’s name was entered into the exchange because it has a pretty good relationship with Aulas. Aside from Mourinho, the names Laurent Blanc and Patrick Vieira are also on Lyon’s radar.
“We have a pretty good relationship via SMS. But, unfortunately, he did not accept our offer because he claimed to have received an offer from another club,” Jean-Michel Aulas was quoted as saying on the Get Football News France page.
Since being sacked by Manchester United in December, Jose Mourinho has yet to get a new club. In the transfer market last summer, Lyon had approached him. However, in the end, Mourinho refused and Les Gones appointed Sylvinho.
To fill his free time, Mourinho now works as a pundit with Sky Sports. He also became an observer with BeIN Sports in the 2018-19 season. Life as an observer does not seem to make Mourinho satisfied. Some time ago, he had revealed his intention to return to training. However, he only wants to train in England because his family currently lives in London.
