Related to James Rodriguez, President of Naples Says Madrid Makes No Sense

DBasia.news –  Napoli’s President, Aurelio De Laurentiis, stressed that he would not fulfill Real Madrid’s request regarding James Rodriguez’s transfer. He considered that what Los Blancos was asking for did not make sense.

Napoli made James Rodriguez the number one target in the 2019 summer transfer market. The club from the City of Naples felt Rodriguez would improve the quality of the team.

“In the transfer process of James Rodriguez, the problem is only one. Napoli must negotiate with Real Madrid at the moment. We have to be strong,” said Aurelio De Laurentiis.

“Napoli must not budge. We cannot give what Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez, what he wants.”

“We are not in a hurry to make transactions as the Napoli squad is strong enough. I want to purchase a player, but I don’t want to make mistakes,” he added.

Previously, there was a discourse to give napoli’s number 10 to James Rodriguez. However, a number of Partenopei fans refused as the back number was retired after Diego Maradona left.
