Renato Sanches postpones contract negotiations with Lille

By db-admin

DBasia.news – AC Milan received good news from Olympique Lille midfielder Renato Sanches. The player has postponed negotiations on a new contract with Lille.

Renato Sanches’ tenure at Lille is still valid until June 2023. However, Lille decided to immediately extend Sanches’ contract. A convincing appearance is believed to be the biggest reason. Lille was also afraid that Sanches would leave.

However, the Portuguese midfielder does not want to discuss a new contract with Lille. Sport Italia reported that the player asked Lille for time to make the best choice.

Sanches’ action began to be associated with AC Milan’s interest. The Rossoneri have reportedly made Sanches the top wanted list in the transfer market.

For Milan, Sanches is an attractive option to replace Frank Kessie who has never signed a new contract. The former Atalanta player will be on a free transfer in June.

To be able to sign Sanches, Milan has began contacting agent, Jorge Mendes. The world super agent is also a representative of Milan player, Rafael Leao. The Rossoneri are currently in the process of extending Leao’s contract.

Milan also has a good relationship with Lille. Milan and Lille are in negotiations to sign Sven Botman in January.

24-year-old Renato Sanches joined Lille from Bayern Munich for a fee of €20 million in 2019. He has 1 goal and 3 assists in 19 appearances across all competitions this season.
