The Financial Fair Play (FFP) is established to limit the spending in the transfer market by European rich clubs. However, many clubs manipulating it just like the revealed fact recently. UEFA is speculated helping Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to cover up the FFP.

In the beginning, FFP’s regulation is released to ensure the club’s financial situation becomes healthier and protect the limited-budget clubs. Long story short, each club must not have bigger spending compared to the income.

However, two rich clubs of Middle East businessman, Manchester City and PSG, ignored that. Both are spending hugely in the transfer market.

European Investigative Collaborations (EIC) did an investigation and reported UEFA giving assistance to Man City and PSG to escape the FFP regulation.

European football association UEFA arranged secret settlements with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain that allowed the clubs to cheat its own Financial Fair Play rules by hundreds of millions of euros,” the statement said quoted by Football Italia.

“Senior UEFA administrators, including the ex-secretary general and current FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, personally intervened to encourage settlements with big clubs, while the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB), the UEFA department that investigates rule breaches, aggressively pursued poorer clubs in the likes of Turkey and Romania.”

Manchester City are still doing their habit to recruit expensive players. Meanwhile, Les Parisiens broke the record when they recruited Neymar from Barcelona worth 222 million euro. Furthermore, PSG also loaned Kylian Mbappe with ‎£40M with ‎a £121M buyback option.

“This is the case of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. Man City is owned, since 2010, by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, brother of Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the de facto ruler of Abu Dhabi. PSG is owned by Qatar Sports Investments, which is backed by the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani,” the statement continued.Jose Mourinho’s Expectation on Anthony Martial
