DBasia.news – Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini is the talented coach that could improve the ordinary player to become the extraordinary one. Last season, there was Bryan Cristante. Previously, there was also Franck Kessie.
This season, Gasperini’s hand could be seen in Emiliano Rigoni. The 25-year-old player came to Atalanta from Russian League team Zenit St Petersburg with a loan status and buyback clause worth 15 million euro for each season.
So far, he performed twice in the Serie A and scored two goals. Interestingly, Rigoni explained that Juventus FC were approaching him.
“I’m thinking above all of Juventus, who wanted me, but I’d been talking to La Dea for a year and I think the determination with which a club looks for you is crucial,” Rigoni revealed.
Despite the short duration joining Atalanta, Rigoni also uttered his admiration of the new city. He thinks Bergamo is a beautiful city and his family loves to stay here. However, the struggle of the team was difficult at the beginning.
