Rivaldo: Alisson Should Be Played by Liverpool Counter Manchester United
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Liverpool will play at Old Trafford, the headquarters of Manchester United, in the continuation of Week nine of the Premier League, Sunday (10/20) night Western Indonesian Time. The former Brazilian, Rivaldo, suggested Liverpool to play Alisson.
Alisson suffered an injury when Liverpool played the first week of the 2019-2020 Premier League match against Norwich City. Apparently, the injury makes the Brazilian national team goalkeeper could not show his teeth until now.
However, good news came because Alisson’s condition was reported to have improved a lot. The former AS Roma player is predicted to be played when Liverpool visited Manchester United’s headquarters.
“Manchester United’s match against Liverpool is his first match in a few months. So, it would be a bit risky to reduce him to a game of that size,” explained Rivaldo as reported by Metro.
“However, he is an experienced goalkeeper and will be ready when played. Every player will be happy to perform in such a match.”
“Of course it’s better to accept Alisson in 100 percent fit condition after diving a few games, but that’s not the case. However, the experience and the quality he has is enough to cover his current condition.”
“He is one of the best goalkeepers in the world at the moment. He is accustomed to appearing in big matches, so I am sure he will not have problems with his physical condition. He will appear solid in the Reds goal as usual,” said Rivaldo.
Although Alisson is absent, Liverpool still has a slick report card in the Premier League. Jurgen Klopp’s troops always won in eight consecutive matches. Not surprisingly, the Reds is eight points ahead of the second place, Manchester City.
