Roman Abramovich Didn’t Agree on Petr Cech to Leave

DBasia.news –  Petr Cech recalled the seconds he left Chelsea to Arsenal a few seasons ago. He said that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich did not allow him to leave.

Cech left Stamford Bridge in 2015 after losing to Thibaut Courtois. Four years away from Chelsea, he seems to still remember how the last conversation with Roman Abramovich at that time.

“I had a meeting at his house. We sat down and I revealed the reason for leaving. I was very nervous at the time,” he said.

“He was not happy to hear that and did not let me go. But in the end, he understood that I had done everything for Chelsea.”

This season is the last season Cech has a career as a football player. He has already decided to retire next season. However, ahead of the end of his career, he had the chance to face the Blues in the Europa League final.
