Rome Will Not Release Dzeko to Inter

Dzeko has actually agreed to join Inter. However, the transfer process is now delayed as Rome is still looking for a substitute for the player.

Roma wants Gonzalo Higuain to replace Dzeko. However, they were still having troubles bringing in Higuain to the capital city.

Higuain still has no intention of leaving Juventus in the near future. In fact, Higuain did not get a place at Juventus after spending last season on loan with AC Milan and Chelsea.

Dzeko scored 14 goals for Roma last season. However, Giallorossi slipped to sixth in Serie A and failed to appear in the Champions League for the first time since 2013.
