Romelu Lukaku is again injured

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Romelu Lukaku has continued to be in bad luck. The Belgian player had to pull over again due to injury.

Lukaku returned to Inter Milan on loan last summer. Even though one year earlier, he was signed by Chelsea for 115 million euros.

A poor season with Chelsea has made Lukaku asked to be returned to Inter. He hopes his goal instinct can return after only collecting 15 goals in 44 matches throughout the 2021-2022 season.

Chelsea had no other choice so they loaned the striker to Inter. Lukaku returned to the Nerazzurri until the end of the 2022-2023 season.

But Lukaku’s second period with Inter did not go smoothly. The 29-year-old player is starting to get used to injuries.

Lukaku has so far only made seven appearances in all competitions. The collection of goals is 2 new pieces.

The new year should be used by Lukaku as a turning point. But what happened was not as expected.

Lukaku has failed to score in the two matches that have been held in 2023. Now, he has a new injury.

According to the Sky Sports report, Lukaku will have to be sidelined for the next few days due to a problem with his knee. There is inflammation in the tendons of his left knee.

This injury made Lukaku absent when Inter met Parma in the last 16 of the Coppa Italia. He will also undergo an in-depth examination to check how badly damaged his knee tendon is.
