Romelu Lukaku wants revenge against Chelsea

“It was the kind of anger I had inside of me. That now the team has it too, who didn’t win last year, together we hope to do better and bring something home.”

When asked about the cause of his troubles at Chelsea, Lukaku thinks about many things, but there is only one thing he wants to do: revenge. Lukaku wants to revive a career at Inter to be able to do so.

“So many things. I thought before, when I left, I wanted to take revenge at Chelsea because when I was young, they were my team for 11 years. I had the opportunity to go back there and thought I would be a hero, but it’s not that. what happened,” said Lukaku.

“In March, when I heard there was an opportunity to come back here, slowly I said nothing, but towards the end of the season we did a very good job with the club and I was able to come back here.”

“I make reflections only at the end of the season, so after the last game I think about my situation. I saw that as a player with Inter I did well, the season at Chelsea was challenging for me. I have no doubts, that’s why I made the decision to come back here.”

Lukaku isn’t even thinking about individual achievements like Capocannoniere or the status of top scorer in Serie A, because he only thinks about success for Inter and tries to present the Scudetto at the end of the season.

“I don’t care about the fight for the Capocannoniere. I can honestly tell you, I only think about the Scudetto. We are at Inter, here we play for the Scudetto, we don’t play for individual interests,” added Lukaku.
