Romelu Lukaku’s Loyalty to Antonio Conte

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  The Belgian national team striker who also defended Inter Milan, Romelu Lukaku, said his desire to play under the care of Antonio Conte has long been thought of. This is evident from the sharp performance of Lukaku when coached by the 50-year-old when he joined Inter Milan.

As reported by Italian Football, the Belgian striker said he greatly admired Conte’s training and tactics. That’s why he had promised to be willing if he is needed. The promise he made in 2015.

“It all started in the Belgian and Italian test matches a few years ago (2015, Italy lost 1-3). I noticed Conte played with two attackers, Eder and Graziano Pelle, and they created many chances,” Lukaku said.

Since that first meeting Lukaku was determined to be able to play under the care of Conte one day. The game that Conte applied was said to increase his chances of scoring goals.

“After the match, we talked a little. He told me I would train Chelsea. But it was impossible for me to follow him,” Lukaku explained.

“So I say, if he goes somewhere else in the future, I will follow him,” continued Lukaku.

Knowing Conte moved to Italy, Lukaku began to explore opportunities to leave Manchester United. As you know, Lukaku’s attempt was successful. He is now Conte’s player at La Beneamata.

“I’m still young. I want to work harder. In England there are many similar matches, but here, every game is different. You can end up losing if you only give one chance,” Lukaku added.

Joining Conte to Inter further strengthens his intention to leave the UK. As since childhood Lukaku dreamed of being able to defend the Nerazzurri. “Playing in Italy and for Inter is a dream that I have.”

Lukaku can be said to be Inter’s best purchase of the season. Lukaku who was brought in for 80 million euros has managed to package 14 goals in 21 Serie A parties.
