Ronald Koeman Threatened Not To Accompany Barcelona When Against Villareal

By db-admin

DBasia.news – La Liga 2020-2021 season, will roll out this month. Barcelona will face Villarreal in the inaugural match at Camp Nou. However, the manager, Ronald Koeman, was threatened that he would not accompany his squad.

However, reported by Marca, Thursday (17/9), Barca’s new coach, Ronald Koeman, has not been allowed to accompany his team. The reason Koeman is not allowed to accompany Barcelona against Villarreal is because it has not been processed by the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).

Partidazo de COPE reported that Setien and the club have not agreed to a severance package regarding his dismissal. This made the RFEF unable to process documents for Koeman’s recruitment.

But there is still time for Barcelona to resolve the issue before the first match starts. Koeman has seen Barcelona win twice in two friendlies against Gimnastic 3-1 and Girona 3-1.

It is interesting to see how the Blaugrana’s progress this season when the changing room conditions are not yet fully conducive. Previously, the club and Lionel Messi were tense over the contract clause. Messi, who wants to leave, has proposed activating the clause stated in the contract that he can leave at any time at the end of each season.

However, Barcelona rejected the proposal because it was deemed to have passed the deadline, namely June 10. Meanwhile, Messi argued that the clause should still be valid because the 2019-2020 season competition was delayed due to corona.

Messi did not participate in training and medical tests conducted by the team. But La Pulga finally decided to stay until his contract ran out next season. But he said he was still disappointed with the club’s attitude.
