Rully Nere: U16 Women National Team Are Motivated After Defeating Kyrgyzstan

The U16 Indonesia women national team gained the victory in the qualification of 2019 U15 Asian Women Cup for Group D. The 3-0 victory gained in the match against Kyrgyzstan at Dolon Omurzakov Stadium, Bishkek, Monday (17/9).

Indonesia scored three goals from Sheva Imut Furyzcha (44′, 62′) and Firanda (55′). Indonesia almost scored the goal at 31′, but hit the crossbar.

The result made Indonesia collected 6 points from 2 matches, leading the standing. Previously, Indonesia women national team won 3-2 against Palestine.

“In the first round, we faced difficulty in entering their defense. Sheva utilized the gap last minute. We revived and scored two more goals in the second round. The players were playing calm and minimizing the mistake,” Rully Nere said.

“The second victory continues the positive trend of their previous winning. It boosted their spirit. Their passion to win is big. They played well,” he added.

The next opponent will be difficult, Australia, on Wednesday (19/9). In the first leg, Australia defeated Palestine with a 11-0 score.
