Rumors of Cristiano Ronaldo Returning to defend Manchester United
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester United responded to speculation that Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Old Trafford. The response came after rumors circulated that Man United’s management had discussed a deal with the player’s agent.
Ronaldo and Manchester United have had an intimate relationship in the past. CR7 is arguably one of the most memorable ex’s for the Red Devils.
Ronaldo’s name began to be known to the public when he was recruited by Manchester United in the summer of 2003. Sir Alex Ferguson immediately gave him the confidence to use the sacred jersey number seven.
Ronaldo answered that belief perfectly. He was able to become a mainstay of Manchester United before moving to Real Madrid in 2009.
After more than a decade leaving Old Trafford, Ronaldo has continued to be linked with Manchester United. Their reunion could even take place next summer.
Juventus is said to be planning to release Ronaldo because of the financial crisis due to the effects of the corona virus pandemic. Selling the player with the highest salary can certainly save the Bianconeri’s expenses.
However, the news is still only a rumor. There was no confirmation from Juventus or Ronaldo.
Reporting from the US, Ronaldo is not interested in returning to Manchester United. The 35-year-old player wants to complete his contract with Juventus until 2022.
In addition, the validity of rumors of Manchester United’s interest in repatriating Ronaldo is also questionable. The presence of the former player is considered to hinder the career development of young players such as Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood.
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is the most realistic choice for Ronaldo if he leaves Juventus. The French giant’s financial condition is strong enough to endure the high value of his salary.
