Sadio Mane Injured!

DBasia.news – Unfortunate news has again hit the Senegal national team ahead of the start of the 2022 World Cup. Sadio Mane, the main striker, reportedly was unable to appear in the grand event.

With his experience, ability and leadership factors, Sadio Mane will be the focus of the Senegal national team at the 2022 World Cup which will be held this month. Mane is the most prominent player for the African representative.

Unfortunately, just days before the 2022 World Cup, Sadio Mane had to be sidelined due to injury. The striker suffered an injury while defending Bayern Munich against Werder Bremen. Mane had to be withdrawn midway through the second half.

Julian Nagelsmann as Bayern coach assesses Mane’s injury to be quite serious. “Had to go through a scan to see what happened,” said Nagelsmann.

Apparently, what was feared happened. L’Equipe reports that Mane doesn’t have enough time to recover ahead of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Of course, losing Sadio Mane is a big blow for Senegal. Moreover, the competition in Group A is quite tight with the Netherlands, Qatar and Ecuador.
