Sadio Mane Thinks About Bayern Munich

DBasia.news – When it was reported that Robert Lewandowski left Barcelona,  Bayern Munich are still efficient in the 2022 summer transfer market and they have recruited three players.

Two players came from Ajax Amsterdam, Noussair Mazraoui and Ryan Gravenberch, another player was recruited for 32 million euros from Liverpool, namely Sadio Mane. The arrival of the 30-year-old player is a big signing for Bayern.

During his 6 years with Liverpool, the Senegalese player successfully presented the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup titles. Mane has consistently been a scourge of the opponent’s defense with his agility in combing the wings.

Another good thing about Mane is a strong work ethic. No doubt Bayern have signed top players this summer. However, considering the reason for moving to Bayern, it is quite unique as there are quite a number of European clubs that he can head to.

When speaking to FC Bayern TV, Mane explained his reasons to Bayern. Apparently, the former Southampton player has long been in love with the people in Munich and he often visited the City of Munich when he defended RB Salzburg (2012-2014).

“When I lived in Salzburg, I used to come to Munich regularly. The people are very respectful and kind. This really impressed me and is important for me. People have welcomed me, especially here at the club, who have given me extra motivation,” explained Mane.

Mane also shared his first experience in adapting to Bayern’s game. He enjoyed training with his new team-mates and can’t wait to start pre-season with them.

“That’s great! I enjoyed it and the other players enjoyed it too. I am thrilled to be here. Today is our first day together and I’m really excited to start the season.”

“I’ve met them as opponents. Now we are team-mates and I’m happy to get to know the players. Some of them will only arrive in the next few days. I can’t wait to meet them too and start pre-season with them.”
