Samir Nasri Revenge on Didier Deschamps Has Not Completed
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Former Arsenal player Samir Nasri gave a sharp criticism to the French national team manager, Didier Deschamps. According to Nasri Deschamps’ decision to not bring Karim Benzema at the 2018 World Cup was a mistake.
“I am happy because France could be the 2018 World Cup. There are some shortcomings. I don’t understand why Deschamps didn’t bring Karim Benzema,” Nasri said during a question and answer session on his personal Instagram account, Wednesday (22/04).
“He can build three teams with different composition of players. But I also have the right to dislike the composition of the player he chose,” he added.
Nasri also said that he also did not understand why he was not included in the France squad at the 2014 World Cup. He also asked the question about the existence of Benzema in the France squad during Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup.
“I understand why Hatem Ben Arfa was not been selected for Euro 2016 because of his poor season in Nice. But I don’t understand why Benzema didn’t exist in Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup.”
At the 2014 World Cup, the player who currently plays for Anderlecht was not selected to enter the Roost team.
“Nasri is a good quality player, but his performance with France has never been as good as when he played for Manchester City,” Deschamps reasoned at the time.
“Nasri is an important player and a top choice at Manchester City but that’s not what we pay attention to in the French national team. He also said he did not like to be backed up. That is the reason he was not called,” said the former Juventus player.
