DBasia.news – Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri, revealed that one of the young players Callum Hudson-Odoi got his attention. Sarri said he would boost Hudson-Odoi’s career.

Hudson-Odoi was having the first debut with Chelsea main squad on January during the Premier League. But, the 17-year-old player spent most of the time with the juniors.

In fact, Hudson-Odoi is the key player of Chelsea junior winning the Champions League for young players. Besides, he is the key player of England national team in the U-17 World Cup in 2017.

Hudson-Odoi stole the attention when Chelsea played 1-1 against Arsenal. In that match, Alvaro Morata was the one who failed to perform well.

Hudson-Odoi impressive performance with Chelsea made him as one of Maurizio Sarri’s plans. The Italian manager would give a position for Hudson-Odoi.

“Hudson-Odoi is a very young player, we have to wait. In the future he will be a very, very strong player for sure,” Maurizio Sarri said.

“He will stay with us (in the senior squad) for the season,” Maurizio Sarri continued.

Since having the debut in Chelsea main squad in 2017-2018, Callum Hudson-Odoi played in four official matches, 2 Premier League and 2 FA Cup.
