DBasia.news – The director of Sassuolo, Giovanni Carnevali, has warned the big Serie A teams who are interested in Gianluca Scamacca and Giacomo Raspadori, that they should not sell the two young players in the summer transfer window.
Scamacca and Raspadori have been wanted by big Italian clubs, along with his appearances for the Neroverdi in the 2021/2022 season.
AC Milan and Inter MIlan are reportedly competing for Scamacca, while Juventus are attracted by Raspadori who could take over from Paulo Dybala’s role in Massimiliano Allegri’s team.
However, Giovanni Carnevali as director of Sassuolo warned the three big clubs that they could be disappointed next summer.
“We’re not going to sell all the players that other clubs want. It won’t be easy to keep them, but we haven’t received any important offers yet,” Carnevali told Sky Sport Italia.
“Next season will be our 10th season in a row in Serie A, we may need to sell some players, but we need to be careful. Selling players doesn’t always have to make us weaker.
“We want to build a team and invest in young players. I am sure that we will receive an important offer and I will be happy because it means we have done well.”
Giacomo Raspadori has gone 33 games scoring nine goals and five assists for the Neroverdi this season, while Gianluca Scamacca has 13 goals and one assist in 33 games.
