Sassuolo Warns Inter Milan not to Lower Sensi’s Price
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Sassuolo has really let go of Stefano Sensi to Inter Milan. However, the club’s director, Giovanni Carnevali, warned the Nerazzurri not to reduce the price of that his player.
This season Stefano Sensi is on loan at Inter Milan. The contract included a clause on Inter’s obligation to make up for it at the end of the season.
And the agreement said that the Nerazzurri must pay 20 million euros for the midfielder. But with the corona pandemic causing disruption to the club’s finances, Giovanni Carnevali is worried that Zhang Jidong’s club wants to pay the player below the agreed price.
“Sensi will be bought directly by Inter and we will talk about it. Player prices after this pandemic may fall. But we will not do it this time. We are an expensive player shop,” Carnevali said as reported by Italian Football on Sunday (05/10/2020).
“Disruption in Serie A costs more than 200 million euros. For Sassuolo it costs between 10 million euros and 12 million euros. So we will never want to reduce prices for Sensi,” he added.
Stefano Sensi’s chance to become a permanent player at Inter is indeed very large. Because this season he appeared extraordinary and became the motor of the team’s attack. Despite a long absence due to injury, Antonio Conte seems to be doing everything possible so that the Italian national team midfielder stays at Giuseppe Meazza.
